There’s lots to see in
the Holy Land: camels, goats, sheep, donkeys, forts,
theaters, palaces, walls, stones, (there’s lots of
these!) ruins, churches, monasteries and shrines of many
faiths. But a trip to the Holy Land is unlike tours to
other places.
The Holy Land, a far-away
spot we’ve heard tales about since we were toddlers, is
a place of the spirit. And it has a unique, timeless
guidebook: THE HOLY BIBLE.
| Reading biblical passages on
site, whether it’s an
authentic
biblical site or a
traditional
biblical site, is a moving and meaningful
experience. During the tour, your tour host will
read, teach or preach passages relating to the
sites you are visiting. And I always recommend,
whenever possible, additional “quiet time” for
private reading, reflection and prayer. |

“A trip to the Holy
Land changes forever your understanding of the Bible.
It’s like having a phone relationship with someone for
years and then meeting the person. The relationship then
takes on a new and expanded meaning because it has
become personal."
Dwight Teske, Oak Park, California
